Volunteer Program

The day to day operations of André House are run primarily by the Core Community, though not much could get done without the many generous people who assist us daily in the service of those most in need. Please consider joining us in our ministry. The following volunteer opportunities are available:

Supper

Serving an average of 600 meals every night, Saturday through Thursday, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Volunteers assist with food preparation, dishwashing, food service, and clean-up

Front Office ("Pascente Office")

The office is the place where our guests first come into contact with us. We assist them with information and referrals, the use of a telephone, toiletries, blankets, and other needs they may have.

Monday through Thursday, 10 am - Noon; 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Sorting Donations

Groups or individuals are needed to help sort, size, and organize clothing in our basement.

Saturday, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm or by appointment

Donation Drive

We need groups or individuals to host item drives on our behalf. Get your family, friends, co-workers or church communities to come together to collect items for our guests. See our Needs List to determine what items we currently need or contact Teresa Hipp.
